Not much to worry about. I have a pair of derbies in black matte calf and the break happens after wear anyways. Matte calf is a great leather. Enjoy them.

Yea, I'm not really bothered. I wear guidi boots and the aesthetic is all break from day 1

Yeah those boots look great. I agree and think a full black out model would look awesome though

Ya, it does. Notre had a blacked out service boot in matte black calf a few years ago.
