Not much to worry about. I have a pair of derbies in black matte calf and the break happens after wear anyways. Matte calf is a great leather. Enjoy them.

Yea, I'm not really bothered. I wear guidi boots and the aesthetic is all break from day 1

Mrfuzon - what are your thoughts on this make up after a few days? They look great! I will be getting a pair next week and to be honest, I have never seen bison leather in person. I have a feeling these might take time to break in..

Ya, it does. Notre had a blacked out service boot in matte black calf a few years ago.
