People who've got both Viberg 2030 lasted boots and Red Wing/RMW:

How did sizing/fit compare between the brands? I wanna get a pair of service boots in the 2030 last, but pairs to try on are hard to come by in Australia and I don't wanna risk the wrong size and paying for shipping to return/exchange

I am a 9G in RM Williams Craftsman last. I've only ever tried on the 8.5 in the 2030, and it was too tight on me. Too tight on the midfoot and the heel cup felt too narrow. I suspect 9 would have been a good enough fit for me, but I never got to try on any other sizes.

I'm assuming 9G was in UK/RMW sizing? If so (I'm gonna take some wild guesses here, based on sizing advice for shoe brands), your brannock sizing is 10 (US)?

Viberg recommends the full size down, so if you reckon an Viberg 9 would fit you well, that is very comforting! Thanks

9G is RMW sizing, as in what's printed on the sole of the shoe. My brannock is a 9.5E. I wouldn't go more than 0.5 down on the 2030 if your foot is any wider than a D.

I think it really depends on the configuration of your feet as well. I have wide feet, to where I wear an 11 EE in New Balances that are borderline too small, and I wear a 10 in Viberg 2030. All of my shoes used to be 11.5, or 12 in the case of running shoes. And yet the 2030 fits me perfectly in a 10. I think it's because I don't have very long toes, relatively speaking, so I don't end up with any issues in the toe box like some people do that try to size down that much. It also depends on what type of socks you plan on wearing too. If you want to wear thick socks, that may require sizing up.

Guys I've got a pair of 2030 Burgundy horse size 9. Only a few pairs made in the world. probably less than 30 pairs tbh.
I am letting it go because it's half a size too big for me. Anyone interested let me know Ill post a pic here.
Ive worn it twice in the office where I work so no harsh environments or floors whatsoever. Still in perfect condition.
Ill take 750 USD for it. Ill ship it express to you for free! Anywhere in the world. I am in Bangkok Thailand.
