3sixteen plain toe mocha oil harness / rowdy dachshund
Thanks. The 1035 last (or in my case "3101") fits my foot really well compared to the 310 and 2040 lasts. I just wish the shank/sole was a little more stiff. Good to know there is something out there like this.

The 3101s have a dainite sole, don't know if a Ridgeway sole with a single leather midsole would be any stiffer?

I beat my pair of service boots with a Dainite sole into the ground for 4-5 years, and in the past year picked up a couple of ridgeway pairs.

Sent off the Dainite pair for a resole at the same time, so not apples to apples, but for me ridgeway is noticeably springier and more comfortable than Dainite.

I agree, the one pair of Viberg's I have with the Ridgeway sole are softer to wear while standing compared to my other Vibergs with the dainite sole.

The outsole whether a Ridgeway or Dainite sole may not be factor in the stiffness of the shank.

So the stiffer shank I'm looking for may only come from a thicker midsole or a double leather sole.
