Gents,

Is Vertu Constellation already available for sale in the States? If yes, what is the resale price?

Thanks

Hey,
Yeah they sell them at NM. I have the Accent and the Signiture, and I just ordered this new one. I don't live in the states, but I was in New York last week, and they told me that they will stock on them in a couple of days. They're at Tourneau. They're much cheaper, and my friend told me that they're selling them for 2000 pounds in Selfridges and Harrods. I bought mine for 1250 Kuwaiti Dinars, which is for $4700. I believe that they retail for $4,350. I'll get mine in a couple of days, and post in if you want.

I like motorola razrs. The first one slipped out of my pocket in a cab and I almost lost my second one today as I was testing out mattresses. Thankfully, the saleswoman was honest because finding a razr is the same as finding a couple hundred bucks cash. I'm with you on this one. I don't ever see myself spending several k on a cell phone.

I'm honestly not in to the whole latest and greatest cell phone thing. The Razr is still the slimmest phone on the market and that's why I have it.

Ah but see my phone is now a year old, even when I bought it they, I **** you not, came out with a new model a couple days after I got mine. I really wish I got one of the ones that would play over the air HDTV those are fuckin bad. Am I an elitest prick? Somewhat, I just like to give people a taste of what they are missing out on here in the states (kinda take them down a peg so to speak)

What's the point of receiving OTA HD on a phone with a screen that's nowhere near the size or resolution to take advantage of it? I love useful gadgets, but all the stuff they're trying to cram in to phones is frankly quite useless. Even camera phones, which i'll admit are nice to have from time to time, are completely limited by the crappy optics no matter how many megapixels you make them.

I do realize this but its all about braging rights for some things on the phones
now the OTA HD those phones had at least 3" wide screens (bigger I think, I would have to look at it again). **** Check out the Sharp Aqueos phone, it even goes flip flop sideways and stuff, but if you were stranded on a train for 45min+ a day you would probably use something like this.
and about the optics on the phones, I know it will never replace my Canon but its ok for the occasional snap of something stupid/cool I see on the streets, and besides my camera probably has a better lense than most all Kodak/polaroid digital cams on the market, hahaha

The Vertu is for cheap losers. You all need the Black Diamond. Its a $300,000 phone encrusted with diamonds on its case. Here is the amazing part, it allows you to call someone else wherever you are, I mean, you can call someone when you are outside, in your car etc.. Isn't that amazing???

Black Diamond sounds pretty bad ass, but Amazing would be a phone that gets reception in a basement
