Versatile casual boots

I just got these AE Cordovan Daltons. I'd like a second pair for casual, around town wear.

I love the AldenXEpaulet Taunton cap toe:

But I'm worried the color isn't as versatile as the Wolverine Krause in Russet:

Any thoughts? Is one way more casual than the other? Which do you think has a more versatile color?
