Hello all, I was browsing on ebay, and came across this Versace wallet. It is similar to one at Raffaello. The problem I have is whether this is authentic or not. From the feedback, and such it seems real but still the thought of buying designer items from ebay still strikes me as being risky. So what are your opinions? Versace wallet Raffaello wallets Thank you very much.

Now my feeling from checking the site is that this seems legit, though if you have doubts ask the dealer to e-mail you other photos of close up details. Like that of the Gianni Versace stamped inside the wallet, it should say "Made in Italy" under it and you can also compare it to the last light brown wallet on the 2nd page of Raffaello's. I didn't read the feedback, but seeing that most of her merchandise is unconventional, like the Voyage Passage jeans (also sold on Yoox), they seem to be less likely the items people would fake. Then again you never know. Your best bet is to just shoot off an e-mail asking her questions, and/or for photos, and judge from there. Anyone who is reputable would enjoy talking about their product as much as people on this site do. Anyone who acts guarded and even off put would tell me they're not to be trusted.

Timothy,

I checked with the seller, and there is a "Made in Italy" legend under Gianni Versace on the lower left. Also I noticed the nuance of a slight curve from both edges. Notice the top left, and right on the Raffaello website, and the ebay picture. It is very slight. Personally I do not think fakes go to the trouble of producing these type of extremely subtle things. Also the various feedbacks, and items this seller sells seems evident that the products are authentic.
