as a watch guy i would say no, but its a pretty cool sport watch I guess. It is without a doubt quartz, and it is gold plated not solid.

Older Versace watches were made by Ebel and quite good... I have two of these and find the styling quite simple and elegant, with just that HINT of Versace flair that keeps them from being boring.

Recent ones are made in a collaboration with Timex and are garish beyond belief, in keeping with what Donatella has done to the brand. I don't know for sure, but it looks as though this is a more recent one. Unlike the older ones, it screams VERSACE before it screams "nice watch."

Not a fan, quite "in your face" styling.

So the list of dying italian luxury brands include: Versace, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana... this is getting sad.

I like how it says "VERSACE" on the top and on the bottom. As if the huge logo on the left side and the little logos on wrist band weren't enough.

It's like this watch is saying "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" btw this tells time too "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" "VERSACE!" did I mention "VERSACE!"

Yep, it is. Believe it or not, the original (VERY first) Versace watches were made in collabo with Franck Mueller. As Osprey Guy will attest, older Versace couldn't be beat for flare with quality.

I'm still haunted by that beautiful Versace watch he posted on the sales forum that I passed on. Huge mistake.

I thought slim trousers were the preferred look here. From your link:

I could see Steve wearing a Versace watch like this, though his might be solid Gold, and a bit more garish.
