Verona - Not al about Romeo and Juliet River - the river side

Hello people!! It’s weekend so I’ve thought to take a walk, make some pics, and show you a small part of my wonderful city, Verona – the Adige. You now, this city it’s not all about Romeo and Juliet, it’s so much more than that, it’s a cool modern city, hip and full of positive vibes, lot’s of places to see, and as we all know, has that touch of historical sense, classy and urban in the same time. So this time we will take a walk along the riverside- Adige, a river with it’s source in the Alpine province of South Tyrol near the Italian border with Austria and Switzerland. At 410 km (250 mi) in length, it is the second longest river in Italy, after the Po river at 652 km (405 mi) Near Trento, the Avisio, Noce, and Fersina rivers join. The Adige crosses Trentino and later Veneto, flowing past the city of Verona and the towns of Rovereto and Adria through the Lagarina Valley and the north-eastern part of the Po Plain into the Adriatic Sea. The Adige and the Po run parallel in the river delta without properly joining. The river adds to the romantic ambience of Verona. Near the river’s banks, one will find fascinating cloisters, museums, theatres, and gardens which are just a few of the city’s well preserved treasures. Here we are with some shoots of this edgy city: Tourist Attractions The Adige crosses some important tourists spots in Italy including but not limited to the cities of Trento, Verona, Rovereto. Also, before entering these cities, it goes past the scenic Brenner Pass in the Alps. In Verona, the Adige is crossed by a superb Roman bridge, the Ponte Pietra. Piazzale Castel San Pietro There are places like the Piazzale Castel San Pietro who has some of the most beautiful castles in the world. They were built to allow it’s inhabitants to protect and defend themselves, a wonderful experience for those outside the palace. Piazzale Castel San Pietro Teatro Romano Teatro Romano – The Roman Theater is a wonderful place, is an ancient theater that was built during the first century. It is well-known for its many concerts, music performances, and ballets. It is one of the oldest monuments in Verona.
