Vegan athletic shoes- advice?

I don't care if they are vegan. I care whether they polute the OCEAN. Which they do.

I have a love/hate relationship with Nike.
Their conduct as a company and the role they played in introducing exclusive and limited edition brands in the past led to the killing of young black males at the hands of other young black males over ownership of those sneakers. Nike failed to respond adequately.

most of their shoes are gimmicks but the Epic React line of running shoes are hands down the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever owned!

The “joyride” is ridiculous and I doubt it will be around long.

I haven't worked out in the gym since 2004. I do a long walk in the country with boots or brogues...
Nice! But for “athletic” (runs/crossfit/etc) purposes those aren’t the best choices.

I am no longer athletic, I am as quick as my elderly arthritic miniature Schnauzer.
