Thanks guys! So in your experience, you feel the P2 a half size down to a 43.5 should have ample toe space for me, correct? As long as the P2 has a touch more than a half size in length compared to the U then I agree that's what I should get. I just wouldn't want the 43.5 P2 to have less toe length than a 44 U. If anything to should have a bit more to accommodate my annoying feet.

Also, if anyone has any opinions on how wide the P2 (New Peter) last is that would be appreciated. For example, are they equivalent to the EG 202 in E or D width?

FWIW, I wear a D width on the EG 888 and a D or a C on the 606 and 202. I find the U-last to fit like a snug EG 888 D width for my feet.

Can one also say the P2 is a low volume last across the vamp like the U-last or is there a bunch more height?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Guys - just thought I'd bump this thread one last determine to make sure I'm correct in my sizing.

I guess my main question is this: are the P2 and F lasts actually longer than the U last or just wider? If they are longer, are they by a half size or a bit more or less?

Question for Vass owners, are New Peter and Peter lasts different or are they identical? Also, is Peter last similar to F last in width and length?

FWIW, I take the same size in the New Peter and F last (so width and length are pretty similar).

Apologies on resurrecting this thread again, but thought it would be better to do so than start a new thread.

I wear a 9.5 D in Alden's Barrie last, 10D in most other US makes and 9 in most UK makes. The Church's, Trickers, C&J, Lobb I have are UK 9 (Lobb is a hair snug though).

Do you a think a Vass in 43.5 New Peter last will most likely work for me or would a 43 be better?

Thanks in advance for your input!
