I know Vass makes a wonderful shoe. They might be one of the best values for an MTO shoe, but sometimes I wonder if they'll ever push forward with their finishes... Which brings me to my question:

Has anyone got some examples of Vass shoes that have been specially finished to have an 'antiqued' look? My example would be an EG Inverness. Can you imagine a cordovan f-last budapest with that antiquing? I saw this after digging a fair bit:

I'm not sure if the chukka came this way. And, I know you can encourage color changes on your own, but I still am curious if anyone has figured out how to get vass to provide subtle antiquing in an MTO shoe... Any examples?

Just wear it yourself, best patina comes with time and patient.

Yes, patina comes with age. And the patina that accompanies a highly finished shoe will be different than the uniform color shoe.

But not the question... Anyone have examples of uniquely finished or 'antiqued' Vass shoes?
