I did not know VASS does not offer a true bespoke? Thank you for clarifying that. On the other note I have been to Vienna and Budapest, the both are magnificent cities. I too would strongly encourage anyone to visit both cities. It is only a couple of hours bus ride from Vienna to Budapest and if anything it is worth of visit just to spend a day in one of many thermal bath or spas in Budapest.

How does one get there from London? As in the best way to travel there for a quick trip.

Appreciate this information. Will eagerly be checking your website.

Yet another nod for Budapest. I'm a rather big fan of the place myself.

Does this still incur airfare taxes?

If you are in London -- emphatic yes.

Oh my god, those are stunning! Love the goyser with cordovan match. I know that guys are keen to do a dark cognac cordovan makeup, so I put in an email yesterday to see how much leather we can secure for an immediate makeup run.

It's really excellent. Check out its online reviews here:

Now, I can speak for my experience. I've used a single coat and reapplied after 3-4 weeks. I find that this "weatherproofs" the boots so that they can shrug off rain or snow. But that's for NYC weather, you might do two coats or reapply more often if you're in an area with more rain.

And the Tarrago can only work as well as your shoe is constructed. Even if you drench it in Nano protector, you can still get your foot very wet if you step into a puddle and your shoes or boots have a space to let water through. Its purpose is more to protect the leather finish than to turn ordinary boots into fully waterproof rain boots.

But that said, spraying this on our incoming Theresianer Boots would give you a product I wouldn't hesitate to wear in a complete, psycho downpour. Or for a casual snowy day walking on plowed sidewalks. If the weather was really horrible or snow really deep etc, then I'd still advise breaking out the Bdsean boots.

My pleasure, and good call! I love that part of the world. The Vienna tourism board is going to have to put me on salary for all the cheerleading I do for that place.

Flight from LON to VIE is pretty easy and inexpensive. I used to do that a lot to teach photography in London. Not sure about a direct flight to Budapest, but you could easily do a day trip there from Vienna by train. Couple of hours each way - it's an easy ride.

Alt Wein is "whiskey" - though much, much darker than my Alden whiskey.
Straight cap toe is antic cognac - it is insanely nice.

I now have P2 and 3636. Both are great lasts, but I much prefer the P2; it has a low instep (good for me) while the 3636 has a high instep.

LOVE the Whiskey. Really nice color that looks like it will age beautifully.

Does Vass offer an H-width (extra-wide) in all last or only some?
