Man those stripes are great. The original brown might still be the best but for some reason, I'm really intrigued about the pink and the blue/lilac.

@gshen what were you guys thinking from the Dugdale Bro's swatches? The blue, 5 swatches from the left, caught my eye and I am also kind of intrigued about one of the bright colors on the left or the pink herringbone to the immediate right of the blue that I referenced. What's the silk/linen percentages?

Yikes, I could see myself buying at least 3 of those stripes, and leaning toward buy on the light tan and blue/lilac.
@CLTesquire check out Dugdale's site for a better idea. They're all 50/50 blends if I recall correctly. I don't love the herringbones (too loud for me), but there are some plains and (shocking, I know lol) glen plaids that I absolutely love.
@gshen mind if we use the thread to attempt to drum up interest?

    Good tip!

Looking at the swatches on the Dugdale site really helps.

I certainly have interest in one of the glen plaids as I don't have a blue one for Spring/Summer. What glen plaids are you in love with?

I would advocate for one of these 3 swatches as I need something in this color family desperately:

The beige/blue & brown/blue are intriguing, but the royal and navy would probably be my preferred. I have a blue GP linen by Solbiati, but I could easily advocate having a similar one in slightly different fabric.

Royal blue and navy blue are my preferred from the 4 GP designs.

Undecided at the moment to be frank. And eric is right - they're 50/50 silk and linen.

Not at all - it'll give us some indication of the preferred colours, too.

We're also working on new matka colours.. thinking softer shades this year. Will post some pictures when we narrow the search down. Let us know if you have any colours in mind!

As long as you're planning for summer, don't forget that we need these green and burgundy striped shantungs re-run. :-D

I seem to remember that Chive matka selling like wildfire last year. The darker one (kale is what I think you called it) was a little too dark for Spring/Summer for me. Chive was perfect. I really regret not grabbing one before they were gone.

@gshen if you make the Standeven mohair/wool in 10 different shades, I will buy one in each shade. Good lord what a lovely tie.

Supplementing my previous post. Tried to catch the pattern in the light.

Yep! SUPER dry and crispy, and such an awesomely subdued pattern. Damn near looks black...and friendly warning, they're down to their last piece :sly:

Good tip as that's been on my wishlist for a while, especially after receiving the olive honeycomb. I have a swatch of the chestnut and thought it was really cool, especially the cool reddish undertones in certain light.

But here's the problem. I like to buy ties in a set of three for the free shipping and want the next round to be suit ties. I have four in mind (the chestnut, blue-red neat, blue-grey neat, and tri-colour blue burgundy grenadine) and need to eliminate one. Thoughts?
