This one is tough to dimple. The fabric itself is quite stiff. To compound that, I asked (Gerald and Diana were AWESOME to indulge my neuroses, as usual lol) to have the tie made up as a 6 fold, rather than 4, which I assume impacts the malleability.

Though in true SF form, I did fret about that haha.

@CLTesquire I'm quite annoyed I didn't jump on that one. Looking forward to the Oatmeal POW though.

Are you wearing the houndstooth or the shepherd's check? Regardless, that is a great tie. I have the navy POW on order and am very excited to have something a little different.

You mentioned you had two linen POW's incoming. Did you get the blue one as well? I really, really like the looks of that.

Yellow flowers linen is on deck for tomorrow!

@Jay Primo cheers. Trying to show my patriotic side a touch
@CLTesquire this is the houndstooth. Like I said above, some seriously stiff stuff. I have the shepherd's check (linen in blue and silk in navy and burgundy) and love them all. The Navy POW is fantastic. Soooo damn light and airy in that special Vanda way, and just a total classic all the way. You'll love it.

Correct, have the oatmeal and blue Solbiati POWs on the way. Should be here sometime next week!

Love it. Gerald let's do this once a year or two. A new SF seersucker based on discussions here now that you've found the mill and we can choose certain parameters in the cloth.

Oh and this one is great too.

Sure, we're up for it. We'll try to sort things out with the mill to ensure they can deliver what we want - the burgundy version that was supposed to happen was quite disappointing, and hopefully we won't get such problems in future.

I was of the opinion that burgundy might be too "formal" of a color for the seersucker texture, so I might suggest looking at a different, slightly lighter shade of blue (e.g. slate blue or something a touch purple--indigo). Other options are a mid to light green or mid to light brown.
