V neck sweater & Oxford shirt? Jeans?

Is this the style to go for here, when wearing jeans with this combo?

Also, what kind of shoes should be worn if you're paring this with jeans? Boots? Dress shoes?

Also, should their be contrasting colors? Black sweater, white V-neck? Dark blue sweater, light blue oxford?

i cant see any pics but a vneck with a white shirt and jeans is pretty much what i wear on weekends. buy slim solid colors, and tuck in the damn shirt tails and keep the collars in the sweater. jeans should be dark and slim as well. For shoes, cant go wrong with brown suede chukkas. In my personal opinion, anything outside of this description is something that I wouldnt wear.
