Do you prefer V-necks or crew-neck sweaters. Any particular reasons?

V-neck. I'm not a fan of anything in a crewneck, including t-shirts.

Crew neck, because I prefer to wear a sweater by itself, with nothing under. Plus, I've always hated V necks.

I'm a v-neck guy myself. For many of the same reasons as listed above.

I stick with V-Neck or Shawl Collar Sweaters, but ironically for T-Shirts it's exclusively Crewnecks.

Edit: This should have been a poll.

I like them both, in different situations. for example

cashmere jersey: vneck
wool shetland: crew neck
cotton jersey: either

with a collared shirt: v neck
with a white t-shirt: vneck
by itself: crewneck

and more like that...

It depends if you are going to wear anything under it, v neck if you are.

V-neck. Easy to dress up, and very casual if worn without a shirt underneath ... supposedly the "v" is slimming.

V-neck.. I love wearing a spread collar shirt with a knit tie under my v-neck sweaters

I prefer v-necks. Most aren't deep enough for me though. I wish I could find some low-cut v-necks that would show off my shirt and tie.
