RIP Jan Utzen who died today. Utzen never received the accolades he deserved for designing the Sydney Opera House. An iconic structure.

Yes, it's really a fantastic building. Although the interior is pretty ugly and charmeless. (Watched an opera there last year)

BTW: It is Jörn Utzon who died, Jan is his son. ;-)

The view out of my apartment windows for the last few years was the Opera House. It never got old. Truly stunning in my opinion. Now I live in Cleveland.
