7 of the 8 runners ran under 10 seconds. One of the fastest fields ever.

Without doubt one of the most impressive athletic feats of all time.

Makes me wonder what could have been with Dwain Chambers had he not missed out on several years of competition due to that little, "incident".

I think hes on roids. That is what sports has done to me now. I wonder if they are juicing every time a world record is set.

They're put through every test known to man. It's unlikely. He's just physically superior... look at him run. He is a genetic freak show. Keep in mind he trains on a dirt track in Jamaica without probably a 5th of the resources available to someone like Gay or anyone else training in a 1st world country. The idea that the Jamaicans could come up with a drug cocktail that could elude testers better than the americans could is just stupid.

They can only test for the drugs they know about. Barry Bonds never tested positive, either. The idea that he could be that much better than so many runners who are probably on steroids without being on steroids himself is, sadly, probably impossible.

And it wouldn't have to be Jamaicans who were making the steroids.

Any evidence of your claim? Or it's just you being an armchair know-it-all?

How many times must I say this...while yes they do test for specific drugs, they typically are searching for abnormalities. It is almost impossible to mask drugs now and the IOC tests every gold medal winner in a sport where one could benefit from the use of performance enhancing drugs.
