I'm wondering if anyone can suggest well made, and made in the US or Europe, suede chukkas, ideally with a reasonably grippy outsole (for cool and wet weather), brown or tan colors, and a nice, clean look to them - for around $200. Do they exist?

    Cheers!

I do recall looking at the Malvern - but was put off by the bad reviews about squeaking, poor construction and a toe-crushing fit. I'll look out for the other brands you mentioned, though!

BTW - if anyone here has experience with the Malvern, please do post it up.

Meermin has suede chukkas that are right around $200 shipped to the US. Do a search and you'll find loads of info on them on SF.

Watching this thread as I'm considering getting a pair also. Are Florsheim and Cole Haan any good?

Side note, not too interested into running into oneeightyseven!
