I know we've discussed PGA Golfer styles before, but in watching the U.S. Open today, I just had to say that in the pre-show coverage on The Golf Channel, the commentator Alex Miceli was extremely well turned out in a blue blazer, bow tie and pocket square.

Actually, most of the golf announcers look pretty good.

I love this tournament!

And just as I wrote this, Phil takes a quadruple bogey for a 9 on the Par 5 13th!

Wow - his own version of Tin Cup.

True, it's not exact, but the scene of the ball rolling off the green several times seemed pretty similar. It certainly played Phil out of contention.

But, wow - Tiger is so much fun to watch - he's incredible!

I have to admit, it's very reassuring to me when Tiger is leading/winning a major. It really makes me feel like everything will be alright in the world.

I was actually going to make a post about this!

During the day, I was flipping through channels a bit. I generally don't enjoy watching golf, although I love playing it and play often. Anyway, I was flipping and I turned on CBS and thought "WOW, I actually like that."
Forget his name, but he was wearing a navy blazer, white pocket square, blue gingham shirt, anda lighter green with a blue pattern tie. It was very nice.
