I am in Paris and have found a pair of Santoni fatte a mano (tan, not orange) shoes that I really like. Â They are on sale for Euro 400. they retail for Euro 800.
Can anyone provide information on the quality of these shoes relative to other goodyear welted shoes with a similar retail price? Â How does their construction quality differ from the English shoes (green, lobb, CJ handgrade, Grenson masterpiece, etc.).
I know this question has been answered in the past, but Andy is down and I couldn't find a detailed answer here. Â Any information at all would be appreciated.
The albadejo shop had some beautifully finished shoes. Â A few of the finishes were reminicient of Berluti. Â I have pictures to share when I return.
