boy, this thread brings back memories. it was the day before I started my present job, and I polished all of my shoes well, and then found my hands were spotted black and I really dind't want to start work that way.

I just searched for this topic because I had this problem, but then I found the solution: Brillo pad.

We have a winner. Surprised it took until the second page. I just use the scrubber side of the dish sponge with some liquid soap.

I polish a shoe I stole and I put it where my ballsack is and rub it around until the shoe polish is gone off the shoe. About 10mins later I suck the shoe and then im scared to bits.

I just had to look up some information myself. I found that the gritty GoJo cleaned it up great, only the very back under the nail still has some black. I think if I would have spent a little more time at it I could have gotten it too

I just did a pair now, washed with basic handsoap, but wiped with an old shirt I had - hands came out very clean. So if you don't have any of the more industrial type cleaners (fast orange, etc) try that - something with a slightly course texture.
