Okay guys. I have a question that needs to be answered within the next 30 minutes. Whoever's around, please chime in. I think I know the answer.

I am 46 years old, but look a lot younger. I was brought up to believe that it's impossible to wear a suit (i.e. a jacket and pants) with a shirt untucked. Now, rock and rollers wear jackets with sneakers, which I am not prepared to do, but I have a nice pair of Santoni Ellistons (not too conservative, a reddish brown color) on, and I need to know if it is a total error to wear a nice shirt that's hemmed to be worn outside a pair of jeans (i.e. more straight across at the bottom) untucked, with a jacket. I'll try to post a pic in a minute.

I'm sure I've seen this look but it's so foreign to me, I feel the need of a confirmation. The event dress code is funky but nice.

Any opinion is welcome. Pictures of a guy making it look right are appreciated!

I don't think it's a flattering look. Usually it just makes you look like you're trying to hide your gut.

What would your mother say. And confidentially, no matter what you think, you don't look that young.

Maybe I'm a prude, but I am 21 and I would never do it. I just think it looks weird.

Ha, I'm going with the masses here - tuck in your shirt, particularly with a jacket on. Have fun at your event!

Unless you are homeless there is no excuse to untuck your shirt.
