Hi, I am flush at the moment and have always wanted to try and get made some bespoke or semi-bespoke dress shirts.

Having looked through websites and swatches, Emma Willis seem to have a nice arrangement, and at £290 GBP per shirt (for Sea Island bespoke), it's not out of budget, but also I'm wondering if it's good value!!?

I have looked at Gieves & Hawkes and Hilditch & Key

I've recently been tempted to try out Norton & Sons of Savile Row. I believe their bespoke shirt service starts at £200/shirt (3 shirts minimum). They have exceptional service and ethos. It would be very nice to know how their shirts actually turn out, though : ]

Stephan Shirts. Best value MTM shirts anywhere in London at £70. Do a lot of shirts for the military at sandhurst. No mimimum order. Lovely bloke, knows what he is doing, service second to none. I have 7 of their shirts

You could also try Budd, Graham Browne. There is also Frank Foster, Stephan Lachter, Connock and Lockie, Sean O'Flynn, Russell and Hodge, Turnbull and Asser. All are significantly less than £290, probably less than £200. Although all will probably have a mimimum order

Can you give us an idea of why Emma Willis is such a nice arrangement instaed of these others? Especially at those prices

Although not in London, you should consider Charvet in this price range.

+1 on Stephan. Why you would want to blow £290 on a shirt, even if you are flush, is totally beyond me.

New & Lingwood, Harvie & Hudson are also options, both cheaper than Emma Wills.

I believe she used to use Rayner & Sturges to make her shirts, but she now has her own factory, in a converted townhouse, how trendy.

You can realise all those qualities in a shirt without paying that premium.

New and Lingwood bespoke start at £165, Henry Herbert go from £125, Turnbull and Asser go from late 100s up to about £275, Hilditch and Key starts at £195 bespoke and £145 MTM. Just saying. Don't get shafted.
