Upgrade Merino V-Neck Sweater Recommendations

Good afternoon,

I was just wondering if anyone can provide some suggestions on where to find some high quality Men’s V-neck Sweaters? I’m hunting for specially Merino wool with a slim to modern fit; ideally I would love to find a brand that offers a 2 ply sweater instead of Ultra fine Merino wool option. My price range is from 0 to $450 and I’m probably going to end up ordering several samples from each brand so any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Smedley are nice, if a little overpriced. They also fit close to the body so if you were planning on wearing a shirt with a collar underneath aim for a roomier size.
