To recall some of the previous threads on the matter, there have been a bunch of really cheap striped RLPL shirts on Ebay in quite vibrant colors. There have been some doubts about aunthenticity, because nobody could really remember seeing these in RL's recent lineups. I took the plunge on one, and I am happy to say that it is definitely authentic. It's really nice too, with nice thick MOP buttons.

Mine was from This seller. I wouldn't be surprised if the others are real too, now that we know RL definitely did make some of these striped shirts.

Best,
zj

Is that a GP Vintage 1945 moon on your wrist?

Do these fit true to size? Are they similar to the blue lable custom fit, or the regular fit?

Definitely more like Polo's custom fit. I'm a 36 chest and this is a small. I'd rather it were a bit smaller - so, it's probably better for a 38 or so. That said, it's a nice fit for RTW, definitely a far cry from Polo's baggy regular line, which, in small, would fit me like a sail.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
