Unsure if doing something wrong with FIH knot

I'm aware FIH is asymmetrical but... is the back blade meant to skew so much that it ends up back to front, with the seam facing away from me? Or am I doing something wrong when tying it?

Asymmetrical knot. The blade should not be twisted as such.

You’ll generally have less issues tying a good FIH with a wider (2.5-3in) tie.

There are plenty of good tutorials on YouTube that offer visual instruction.

The back of your tie shouldn't be twisting away from you, but it's hard to say what's happening without seeing you tie your tie.
