More interesting items I've picked up along the way. I purchased these mostly because I found them unusual/striking and thought some forumites might like them. All are new and unworn, though I think some might be missing their tags.

Edit: Sleeve lengths now added.

First is a peaked lapel cashmere sportcoat with ticket and hacking pockets. This combination has proven exceptionally popular on the forum, but I don't see it all that often in RTW. Made in Canada by Arnold Brandt. (From the "Brandt" line, I think.) Tagged a size 40R; measurements below.

The coat is 97 percent cashmere, 3 percent lycra. Approximate measurements: Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 19 inches; length from bottom of collar: 30.5; chest, with jacket laid flat: 44 inches; waist: 41; sleeve, 25.5-25.75. Single vent. Price: $195.

Next is a bamboo sportcoat/blazer. Yep, all bamboo. Also from Arnold Brandt, and made in Canada. Lovely sheen, and that's why I bought it. Double vents and lots of pickstitching as well. Some really nice touches on this one. Size 42R.

The second pic does the coat no favors, and I'll try to take a better one in the daylight tomorrow. Measurements: Shoulders: 19; length: 31; chest: 45; waist: 42; sleeve, 25.5. Price: $185.

No joke, those are probably my two favorite Brandt sportcoats that I've ever seen.

Next is a sportcoat I'd wear every day if it were my size. Lucky for you guys, it's a 42R. I really love this thing. It's almost a shirt, very lightweight, with almost no padding or structure. It's from Gitman Brothers' "Gitman Sport" line, and was made in Italy.

Here's a full length shot, though the color is better captured in the pics above:

This coat/shirtcoat is surprisingly nicely done. It has a partial lining, and the seams are nicely finished.

Measurements: Shoulders: 18.5, length: 30.5, chest: 46, waist: 44, sleeve: 24.5-24.7. Single vent. Price: $125. Someone please, please buy this. I love the patch pockets, I love how comfortable it is, I love everything about it.

Finally, an all cotton sportcoat in a caramel color. I just liked this one. Seemed like an interesting item for summer. It's also from Gitman Brothers. Size 41R.

Color is more attractive and vibrant than these pics make it seem. Shouldn't have taken the pics when it was overcast outside. Measurements: Shoulders: 18.65; length: 30.5; chest: 44; waist, 42; sleeve, 24.75. Single vent. Price: $79.

Priority Mail shipping would be $8.50 per coat within the U.S. PayPal, please. PM if interested. Thanks for looking.

Nice stuff as ususal, but not my size.

It's interesting to see Gitman though. Years ago, I used to love their shirts, and I thought Gitman was primarily a shirt maker.

Are they still manufacturing stuff today, and would you know if they are primarily a shirt maker? I've never seen a Gitman Bros. coat before.

I got 9 Gitman shirts just this winter. I'm very happy with them. I believe they mostly do private label stuff. You can find a list of some of their stockists. I say some because BG isn't there. One of the least informative websites in the world, but there you go. No mention of these beautiful coats. No pictures of anything in their sport line --- just an assertion that it exists.

DocHolliday sure has good taste.

If any of these were my size I'd take them. I am especially fond of the bamboo blue number. I think it would be fantastic for weekend evening wear, and just the sort of thing I don't have currently. The prices are very good too.
