it is as thick as the wool/cashmere pants with lining
Plokhov sweats have a softer fleece inside and feel quite a bit nicer.
Looks like it's my lucky day. Have a friend on his way here from HK.
I'm a 30 waist... can anyone tell me if I'd be a S or an M for sweatpants in the Hong Kong sizing?
that would be S
Okay, I received the dark green wool flat front trousers, today. They're all going back...
Fit: They're neither slim nor comfort fit but closer to a carrot fit (i.e. slightly roomy in thigh area but tapered at the bottom). I knew I was taking a risk but was hoping for a true slim-fit.
Quality: Almost up to the usual Uniqlo standards but I did detect some iffy stitching on one of the green trousers. For the price, the stitching should have been pretty spot-on (and most of Uniqlo's standard items are usually well-stitched).
Colour: They aren't dark green - they're more of a khaki or olive brown! I've lost track of how many brands have been misleading with describing green items of clothing and this was no exception. When a brand states green, I want green - not something that's brown, vaguely resembling green. Why are clothing brands afraid of producing clothes that are genuinely green (instead of pseudo-greens, such as olive and khaki)?
Delivery: Just under four days. However, the items were packaged in a light grey translucent delivery bag! You could even read the tags through the delivery bag! WTF?!
Needless to say, I wasn't impressed and will probably ignore their next collaborative effort (unless there's a damn good reason not to).
To answer my own question:
The colour of the boat neck jumper is a dull grey with a hint of olive green; a bit darker than the photo on the website. It has a certain military feeling to it. Not my taste and the quality seems to be low. Looks as if it would start pilling very soon. For 30£ it might be ok. I would rather spend a bit more and have something that will last longer.
Is there someone who's willing to trade the men's black woolblend shawl collar coat in XS to S?
I have the S, but the shoulder is too big for my frame (I'm a girl).
hi jenn! lol
There was xs available in the london store last I checked. I have an S available too, and going to return it. If you want a proxy I can try pick one up.
A lot of my stuff are going back if anyone wants, pm me.
any feedback on the flat front cotton pants? still available at every size and colours in Uniqlo France... Might cop the cream/beige one for a summer / spring margielesque look..
But those suckers only uploaded the picture of the front on the website, no pictures nor details of the back, sides, etc..
Any interesting details? What about sizing? TTS? up? down?
The site is a complete joke at this point. There's one shirt that intermittently becomes available and then unavailable. It's in White size S, then 2 minutes later it's Green in M, then back to S, then disappears completely until it returns 10 minutes later.
Received a tracking number a few days ago but going to DPDs site just gives me this:
The parcel has not been handed to DPD yet
same, it just says label has been created, yet some people in NY have gotten their package already.
How much do they stretch in the waist? Any idea of hem width?
Might pick them up.
