Hi. This is my first post, but I've been reading up on styleforum for a few weeks now. A few weeks ago I was invited to a semi-formal event and needed a suit within the week. I ended up buying 2 from Men's Warehouse (buy one get one free). After doing so, I found this forum and realized that I probably could have done much better going to Brooks Brothers or Nordstrom Rack even. (The two suits were a Made in India Joseph Abboud and a Tommy Hilfiger)

I've been looking at sport coats and decided to take a look inside Nordstrom Rack. I found a Joseph Abboud Union Made in USA navy sport coat. Green label I believe. Super 120s. The price was $239. Marked down from $445. The material felt really nice. I want to pull the trigger, but wanted to see what people's opinions were on here. It would be my first sport coat, so I think the navy would be a versatile color.

A navy blazer is a staple. You could start with this one and when the time is right you can upgrade. Go for it.
