Beat me to it. Just tried on my pairs (Black, Night Bloom). I have a pair from the previous evolution which I like a lot and the new version is a noticeable though subtle improvement. They move better and feel lighter without feeling any less substantial or of lower quality. They remain the best-constructed athletic shorts I've owned.

Can't recommend these enough, especially Night Bloom which is very clever and causes a "is that camo?..." double-take.

Absolutely love to hear this. I'm so glad you're loving the updates. I'm with you 100%. I was a big fan of the original fit, but felt there were a number of small improvements we could make to make them even better which prompted the update on these.

Hey guys,
I wanted to share with you a couple shots of the Work Pants and Work Shirt that we have on the way.

The Work Pants are inspired by the classic Dickies 874. We've been working on them for quite some time. Some of you may be familiar with this development as it's come up a number of times. Every detail has been elevated and the fit has been absolutely dialed in. They're made of a premium Japanese twill that undergoes a wash process to achieve a substantial fabric that's insanely comfortable on with a beautiful drape. Our goal with these was to craft a pair of pants that you'd want to wear all day/everyday whether you're hanging in with friends or heading out. They have a Riri zip fly and custom melamine button closure. They pair perfectly with a number of our tees. They look exception with a Heavy Cropped Tee, Heavyweight Cropped Long Sleeve, or a Classic Crew Neck with an Archive Relaxed Thermal layered over top.

The Work Shirt is inspired by WWII era canvas work shirts. It's made of a premium Japanese duck canvas and features a perfect overshirt fit that looks amazing worn unbuttoned (with a shirt or tank underneath) or fully buttoned paired with your favorite denim or chinos. It has two flap pockets on the chest and a box pleat on the back to give you more room when you need it, providing an always comfortable fit. After construction, it undergoes a vintage wash process to give it a beautiful olive hue and amazing hand feel that results in a perfectly broken-in wardrobe grail. The Work Shirt in the shot below is a sample. Everything is on spec except the collar and collar stand. We'll be adding a bit more width to it (between 1/4" and 1/2" total) prior to it heading into production.
