Hmmmm well if this was a restaurant then I might have to say something. But hair in tape just does not seem worth all the hassle. Open the box and toss it out would be my choice.

Leave the hair under the tape and put it in storage. If you do end up getting cooties from the trousers you could someday clone the seller and make his life very difficult.

The problem is that when I received the package last week under the clear packing tape which held on the address label was stuck a hair. I don't want to be impolite in describing it but I will just say that it looked like it wasn't from a person's head. After seeing this I put the package out in the garage and have not opened it. I wrote the seller explaining the situation but not requesting a refund; I just hoped to get some sort of piece of mind as to the condition of the trousers before I opened the package as they were described as new and I have yet to hear back from him. I am curious how other members would handle this predicament.

You must lead the most incredibly sad life. You really need to leave your house and try to socialize or something. Don't be so god damn soft, its not as though this pube was in your food.

Maybe you should just live inside a bubble away from this society full of horrifying people with pubic hair

While I am sure that some members will give me a hard time about this I wanted to take the opportunity to explain my sensitivity over this issue to those who are sincerely interested. I was actually on what could be considered the opposite side of this situation many years ago. When I was a senior in high school I worked at a local T.G.I Fridays as a waiter. This was back when they were running a special on their Nachos plate for only 2.99. A lot of my peers would come into the restaurant mostly to order this and their famous ice cream sundays which I am sure most people on the forum are familiar with. They were usually the worse customers to wait on as they could be very abusive at times and rarely left tips outside of spare change. On one occasion a group of girls came in and ordered a nacho plates and a couple sodas. After I left their order on the table I was called over by one of them who proceeded to point out to me a hair that she found in the nachos. The type of the hair could generally be considered the same as I found on the package that I received. This whole table of girls then started to accuse me very loudly of putting my own hair in the nachos. Needless to say it caused a big scene and eventually my manager was called over to resolve the situation. I very well knew that in no way it could of been my hair and I certainly would of sent the plate back if I saw it on the way to the table but still I was the one who had to apologize and in the end pay for their meal plus 20$ in gift certificates. When I look back at the situation and the reaction of those girls I cannot help but to believe they put the hair there just to get the nachos for free which they did at my financial but worse my emotional expense.
