The New York Times has a very long article on nutrition. There's some valuable information it it. Save a copy for yourself before access is restricted.

wow this article has me somewhat stunned. Even though I am a big fan of farmers markets, I never really thought about them this way. I am going this weekend.

For example, as funny and sobering SuperSize Me was, it just wreaks of vegan propaganda. Dude had a Vegan Chef for a wife, for chrissakes.

He's not vegan. But he does advocate generally making meat a side food, rather than a central food, in one's diet.
