Does anyone have experience with Smith Woollens Blue Riband Finmeryn bunch?

I flicked through the bunch during my last fittings and was VERY surprised and the beautiful handle and weave. 10/11 ounces. It was very impressive. Would be curious to see it made up.

Thanks for the advice, it seems like I can't go wrong with either for the jacket. I'll check with my tailor to see which one I prefer.

I'm also considering getting a pair of summer trousers to go with the jacket. Would a sand, dark beige or taupe color made with fresco be a good choice? I haven't seen many of these colors in fresco. If the sand color fresco would be an odd choice, I'll go for a khaki cotton chino instead. I already have a light beige casual linen suit (Dugdale Lisburn 4630) that works well as separates. So, I could pair the beige linen pants with the navy jacket and the darker sand-colored fresco pants with both the light beige and navy jackets. I also have a mid-grey fresco trousers that could work with both of these jackets. I’m not sure if I’m trying too hard to make all these piece interchangeable though.
First three are regular fresco and the last fresco lite. Yes, they can easily work as summer trousers.

In very different news…: before I post the „official“ pics of collecting my new linen suit and (surprise!) odd linen trousers in the bespole thread, here is a pic of the suit after wearing it for dinner for like five hours.

It might help one or the other deciding on whether or not getting linen stuff.
