I think it’s time for another run of Rangoon!!! Perhaps a plain weave navy or medium grey!!!
The people cry out for a run of the navy chalkstripe Rangoon! (Also grey chalkstripe but lower priority for the people.)

Always happy to revisit this one! You did the necessary run of nailheads and POWs, plus a solid blue. Plainer dark navy or Oxford grey would be useful as well. (Just thinking forward to a summer 2023 wedding.)

Alright. Let's get a run of dark navy suiting 0129 Minnis Rangoon going. Will base it off of the OG version as pictured below. For those who are new to this, Rangoon is a discontinued suiting bunch from Minnis. It is a plain weave circa 280g that has a dry and smooth hand. Hangs very nicely for its weight. A good lighter weight alternative to the traditional Fresco which has a prickly hand and heavier. Please send me a PM if interested. Thanks!

Anyone have LL Cavalry Twill? Any recommendation for alternatives?

I found this to substitute for the pearl grey. Not sure if close in color.

Need alternatives for the fawn.

This is very very tempting… I was just about to commission a suit as soon as tomorrow in Fox Air Midnight but this may cause me to re-evaluate. I’ve enjoyed my Rangoon in Light/Bright navy from a previous run..

I just made up a pair of LL Grey cavalry twill. They are amazing. I wish I didn’t miss out on the fawn.

you may want to check out the dugdale invincible book. They have a ton of cavalry twills in that book. I have a few of them, as well. They have a softer hand than the LL cavalry twill.

This Fearnought is not a substitute to a cavalry twill. @JHWilliams is right. You should look at the Invincible bunch. Standeven has also heavy ammunitions in their cavalry range.

Have a Spring Ram on order. Jacket with unlined sleeves. Anyone can compare to other high twists?

Careful with the unlined sleeves. Spring Ram mock leno has a very open weave. Your white shirts will likely show through. My tailor lined my sleeves with a light, dark lining.

I have three meters of the brown QUCT that I’m willing to let go to make room for my new Rangoon. PM me if you are interested.

The Dugdale invincible cavalry twills look plain? The depth of color cannot compare to LL QUCT.

I do have a few Standeven Heritage Twist Cavalry Twill bookmarked.
