Steven also was fortunate to get his hands on the 250th anniversary new Fox Flannel Bunch. 10 percent cashmere 90 percent merino. I couldn’t resist. I ordered a two piece medium grey flannel from this exquisite bunch.

it is a nice bunch with a good selection. It isn’t up on the website. Literally brand new. Steven was one of the first to get the book.

This is about as full Scholte drape as you can get. One of my fittings with Steven Hitchcock. A 720 gram estate tweed and lady sanfelice Drapers flannel

just did the same in New England. Now I’m kicking myself for not commissioning enough open weave suits lol

I completely believe it, that's one of the allures of the drape cut.

I brought my cloth to my tailor yesterday, and I showed him a picture of Bao.



He instantly responded with "We make this every day!", but was also surrounded by other customers.

So far, my tailor has delivered exactly what I've asked to do, but I feel like the nuances and cut of drape are probably one of the most complex aspects of tailoring, so I still have my inherent suspicions.

I'm in for whatever comes out at this point.

My issue is I don’t wear my gray flannel suit. But maybe that’s bc I am not thrilled with how it came out.

Interesting, I was thinking, if I did a drape cut, I’d use Mahon. But Hitchcock & steed are great.

Ideally yes, but unfortunately I can't afford either at the moment.
