Everest Cashmere made its minimum order in days. Last chance to order. It’s going to be double sided midnight and dark brown. Speak now, or forever hold your peace.

The middle is more what most here would recommend for linen-- summery, informal.

If you do want something darker for evening, unless there is some funny color mixed in (some navy blues have a hint of red that the sun will catch), I'd go for the lighter shade.

I commissioned something once in a blue linen similar to #2 on your list and later regretted it. If I could commission something again, I would something in 1 or 3 on your list, but take the swatches outside in direct sunlight to make sure they don't have any hint of purple. Personally don't like blue with a hint of red in them.

Depends on the occasion you are wearing it for. #2 is more informal compared to #1 and #3. By the way what's the difference between #1 and #3? Have you looked at Minnis Irish linen? There's also a navy in there that's quite nice. Bill and Minnis are very similar in quality but the former costs a lot more. Here’s my navy Minnis Irish linen suit from Sartoria Paone in progress. It's navy but the shade of navy is not like navy in a worsted wool. And with use and cleaning, it will fade and develop a nice worn in look and feel which I like in darker linens.

I’ll echo this.

When looking through a book of swatches, I’m naturally drawn to the lighter and more vibrant navies.

I’ve learned to follow my tailors guidance towards the deeper darker navies - the inkier the better.

Dugdale has a few beautiful woolen cord offerings in their new “Invincible” Collection. I have two pair of trousers and they are fantastic.

I see they are not yet released, I understand you also had Fearnaught before being public, am I wrong?

EDIT: thanks to all who commented on the navy linen options, much appreciated.
