i was thinking mid to heavy weight. Any thoughts ?
They have one that is about 16" and a good all-rounder. The 21oz is what the London Lounge loves to do, and that is also quite excellent once you've made the commitment.

Another thing to explore, if you can-- LL gets some really wonderfully complex weaves done. No idea if that is one objective spec that can be compared to (>=) their garden-variety Ettrick, but see what they can offer in terms of quality.

It's funny, I've reached out to Michael from London Lounge. I was trying to learn more about their cloth names/weaves on the London Lounge website. It seems to be rather exclusive.

The Ettrick is one of my favorite weaves. Just not a fan of the stock drab color.

You can join LL. But Michael likes to have secrecy for his recipe book.

I have joined. I'm certainly not looking to steal any ideas. It would just be interesting to see some descriptions of the cloth. Weight/Worsted/Flannel etc.

They have interesting names: "Wabi Sabi, etc." Difficult to decipher for new members.'

Not sure how to go about ordering. He said to "contact the mill"

I was very much interested in a reverse chalk stripe grey cloth. Absolutely beautiful and difficult to find.

There is a post where he lists some series that have bits left. Not sure if you email him or the mill.

For all the mohair nerds out there, seems that Halstead (assuming I am reading their post correctly) is offering up their Solaro cloth in a mohair blend...

Doesn't Solaro already have a bit of a sheen to it? Mohair would seemingly add more...

This feels like potentially going Martin Sheen -> Charlie Sheen.
