Yes, for some stuff there are cheaper alternatives. But for bespoke I'd rather just get the cloth I want. Fox Tweed is definitely different than most other tweeds. I am not saying better, but the market trend seems to be favouring more comfortable (i.e., softer) fabrics.

The same applies, btw., to Fox Somerset Jacketing. Classical designs, but a very comfy feeling.

understand if it’s a unique design, you want what you want, I’d just encourage you to see if there is something else out there to you liking that meets your specifications.

I noticed that if you actually select a length option, the price drops. For example, with the Fox Tweeds, you initially see £175/m. Select 2.5m, and it's £365, which is £146/m.

Regardless, it's understandable that they don't want to undercut tailors.

This seems to be an error on the website, it is probably without VAT and in the cart, it is back to the full price.

So, you did!

Congrats, it seems a really nice fabric! I presume SBPL No. 13?

Best,

Dimitris
Was thinking about that but maybe I’ll branch out. We will see. Perhaps a 4x1 db with three pleated patch pockets
