Don't care what you say bout Sator he's a motherflippin Rhymenocerus. Peace G-unit wherever you at!
Have to agree. I know there are some negative comments about it, but the suit I have in Frontier is rock solid, nearly as good as Lesser's 9.5/10 oz. I'm getting ready to order another.
It's a good staple if you're looking for a 3-season workhorse kind of suit-- or better.
Now I feel more comfortable to convert my frontier to a "funded liability".
Stephen, please snap your window pane suit; Let's see if your tailor has done a good pattern match.
Does anyone know what the widths of Fresco fabrics are? Can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
I have just measured a piece of Fresco II 0576 - 1.6m wide including the labels.
Interesting comments on Frontier. Harrison's are the only respectable product I can buy locally, but the turnover is so slow and the selection so limited, I suspect they just pick up ends of lines rather than whole books. I can certainly never get any sensible answers on what is what.
So, any tips on where to buy Frontier? Sounds like just what I need.
Sometimes there is a place for heavier weight cloth: "The late King George VI had his woollen merchant John G. Hardy Ltd weave him a gray checked material of double the normal thickness that was made into a suit by the King's tailors, Benson & Clegg Ltd, so he could appear in public during the winter without wearing an overcoat" (Wall Street Journal, Oct. 4, 1955).
Makes sense in Boston (or NY or Montreal), when you're inevitably walking outside in the winter. If JFK had followed that advice, he wouldn't have gotten ill after his inaugural!
Maybe he should have worn a hat after all.
where do you live? The method of buying Harrisons products depends whether your area is covered by Harrisons agent.
Maybe you can take a look at our webpage. We have uploaded photos of many Harrisons collections
Will you also be uploading photos of the Glenroyal bunch?
We will. Actually, we are still uploading some other collections step by step. For Glenroyal, it may be later since we don't have this book at this moment
Thanks aton! Its much appreciated.
Thank you Merino Bros - PM sent.
I only have that piece of fresco. Must one day buy the sf uniform 520 ...
