1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

If you're using LL linen colors for flannel, I'd be much more interested in Taupe or Salvia. Too light and I'm not sure why I'd have a winter-weight pair.

The LL is not the original inspiration for the cloth, just there for comparison. Salvia is too dark for what I want. Somewhere between taupe and oats would be good, which this is. Just closer to oats than taupe.

I really have to visit these cloth merchants in the Europe. They really are exquisite.

I think visiting cloth merchants are best when you have something in mind that can't be easily found. I recall Drapers is supposed to have a book of dupioni silk, but I haven't seen it circulating. Checking Jodek International's website, I couldn't find the Drapers 100% silk in stock.

I asked for mohair in case something unusual turned up. The brown mohair feels quite heavy and I recall Despos mentioning a dark brown mohair DB was one of his favorite suits.

I didn't ask to look at tweed or wool suitings.

I have always been eyeing for the special off white Dupioni silk 3pcs length.

That will be truly special occasion suiting.
