1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

If I'd known it would look like this, I might have ordered a length. Much more flattering colors on SF than on LL.

Alden said something about getting another color scheme tested. I'm not in dire need either way.

Thanks and as of now thinking DB suits for the two Piumas then a 3-piece suit for the Thornproof and sportcoats with flap pockets for the other two tweeds. I'm doing the Agnelii first and then we'll see what happens after that. Probably the light gray Piuma for this Summer.

Has any one used the London Lounge 18 oz flannel? I want to know if it wears significantly hotter than 14 oz?

Does anyone have a few good pointers concerning mid-weight jacketing books, say 9-11oz? I was looking for an interesting fabric for a relatively citified sports coat. My old mainstay was the Hardy Riviera book, but that is, unfortunately, no longer around.

In my experience it does not wear significantly hotter than 14oz.

Good question, with no great answer that I know of. P&H Glorious Twelfth has some nice things, but they are a tighter weave with a smoother surface. Some of the Holland & Sherry books have OK patterns. At one time I had a jacket made from one of the Snowy River collections.

At LL prices or something less 'leveraged'?
