Dugdale ecology, some of the Marling and Evan’s undyed collection
Does M&E post any of their books online anywhere? Some of their flannel looks excellent.

Also on the other side, seeing that Carlo Barbera for H.Lesser Gunclub influenced me to get a Gunclub of my own and found this 4 ply Wool from Scotland for H Lesser. Weather outside is abysmal so not a great photo

For a 4ply? I don’t think the pattern matches the fabric quality imo. That pattern is better for a tweed.

The gun club is nice but would prefer it as a tweed as well

Yup, I think Gun Club works best as a tweed. The cloth has a nice, soft, dry quality to it so I would still love it as a jacket.

So Dugdale sells their Cut Lengths but doesn't handle their advertising and such?

Finally something positive about the 2 ply!

I wish I had this feedback before commissioning 2 4-ply suits last year; the 4-ply is decidedly not a summer suit. Even its wrinkle resistance is less than that of the same weight of Superbio. It’s neither the best-in-class drape in the 13 oz range nor a proper summer suit due to its weight.
That is the beauty of London Lounge Piuma worsted cloth. Perfect for summer without sacrificing drape and comfort. Their Brisa cloth 13 ounce is way too heavy for summer.

Hi all. First time posting here and also in the forum as well.

I'm looking to purchase a suit length for Smith Woollens' Finmeresco. What would be the best place to purchase (preferably merchants/sellers in the UK) , and what would be the reasonable price per meter?

Regards.

Is there a particular reason you're not going through your tailor? Their pricing would be significantly cheaper than going through you're countries Harrison's/Smith Wollens agent...

Tailors in my country (I’m in Asia) usually adds a significant mark up on fabrics (around twice the amount they get from suppliers/agents), so I figure I can try my luck looking for the fabrics myself, then get it commissioned at the tailor later on.

Outside of Europe, tailors tend to make some profit through marking up brand cloth. I wrote something about this a while ago on this or the bespoke thread.
