I thought that was Spence Bryon, but don’t quote me on that.

Yup that's also what I heard: Spence and Bryson, they actually weave a lot of the Irish linen. Also for Dugdale and w.bill, atleast that's what I heard from a reputable source, but don't know for sure.

In fact I think if it's called Irish linen it's probably from them, there are not a lot of mills around that are full on specialized in weaving linen, Ulster weavers is btw the mill, Spence and Bryson is one or their labels, if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you, good to know. Think it was 10 ounce or so and liked it a lot. Used it multiple times

I had to get a new set remade in a drapers fit as all my old ones no longer fit me so it's a TBA. Currently I have a db navy crepe 6x1, cream shawl db crepe 2x1, midnight mohair cashmere 3 piece single breasted peak lapel and this new cream mohair cashmere three piece which can double as an odd dj if the occasion calls for it. I would say currently I like the mohair cashmere the most. I would say in the dead Australian summer unless you're indoors with strong air conditioning you'll come out looking like a damp rag...but hey at least it's a dry heat 🤣😅

there are three mills who do Irish Linen, Ulster Weavers (SB brand) is one of them
But of those three Ulster weavers together with Baird mcnutt are the ones that are not solely focused on weaving bed linen and furnishings right?

On a side note, any suggestions for bed linens? It seems like, given the cost of fabric, it shouldn’t be that expensive or the fabric should be pretty awesome. I wouldn’t ask for a 18 oz flannel duvet, for example.

When my ex wife moved out one of the first things I did was have to find a new bed and new bed linens, and for linens I wanted actual linen. I don't know how they compare to others, but Brooklinen seems like a good starting point.

I wasn’t happy with Brooklinen which is why I asked. I found them, despite their marketing, really expensive.

I like linen sheets / duvets. I found Brooklinen ripped after 2 years.

On the flip side, my frette duvet cover ripped after 6-7 years of regular use.
