Hello esteemed friends,

I hope that this is the right thread for this question.

I am planning on having some shirts made by Luca Avitabile later this month. I am specifically interested in having some relatively casual shirts made in flannels, slubby linen, and maybe denim.

Are there any good options via mills such as Canclini, Solbiati, or Albiate? Or are these fabrics all relatively very formal still?

I know that casual oxford and chambray fabrics are hard to come by, and was planning on using the PS fabrics for these eventually, but I was wondering if the typical books would have good casual options for other varieties of cloth as listed above.

The other option would be going MTM with Proper Cloth or Anglo-Italian perhaps.

I'm usually in vintage shoe threads but I have a question. I had a sport coat in this pattern which was a work horse in my wardrobe. Unfortunately, I rubbed the shoulder with my flight bag strap. Is there a way to find it so I could have another coat made? What do I do? thanks

Not much wear detectable from your pics. I'd stop slinging stuff on the shoulder of the jacket and continue to enjoy wearing it.

Lesson learned but the rub spot is on the shoulder, not pictured. I'm not asking if the damage is 'bad' I'm asking if there is a way identify a particular pattern or fabric? or who do you like for sport coats in general ? thanks.

I did plug the pic into AI and have a little to go on. I'll let you know if I can positively I.D. it.

There's no way to find the exact same fabric. The best approach would be to go through swatches of glen plaid/prince of wales fabrics and try to find a similar cloth.
