Agree that linen can have more character. But I love how Fresco's versatility make it a perfect travel fabric. This color should make for a great BlazerSuit which I had in mind from the beginning.

IIRC the Finmeresco blue-grays are gray than blue compared to 0520. I think there are at least 2 different shades, which I noted down for future reference, but you have to look for yourself.

dark brown 14-16oz fresco (2 yards)

blue/black fresco 12oz (4 yds)

navy mohair spring/summer weight (4 yds)

vintage reid and taylor tweed large format gubclub, about 17-18oz ( 3 yds)

charles clayton "denim" silk/wool (3 yds)

arthur harrison wool grey/black herringbone, 14-16oz (forget how many yards, got it for an overcoat so at least 3 yds)

Coincidentally, both Slewfoot's Minnis tobacco brown fresco and Will's cream flannel by Fox arrived the same day. The richness of the brown shows up better in vox's photo than mine taken at night.

The color looks about right. The suit shown above is probably linen, but I prefer the handling of wool.
