How about putting some cashmere in the mix?

It would considerably improve the quality and hand of the cloth, while at the same time it would render the garment far more luxurious, making it worthwhile for a bespoke project!

Best,

Dimitris
Zegna’s “Cashco” is amazing.
It isn't really a hand issue for me. I'd be just dandy with a closet full of Minnis fresco, which isn't exactly sumptuous to the touch. I just REALLY dislike cotton. I imagine I'll need to age about 10 years (at least) or build out such an absurdly extensive wardrobe that I can't really justify not having cotton involved to some extent...I imagine the aging will come to pass first.
Definitely P&B and the heavier Lesser.
16 Lesser is getting the axe, no? Have you handled the twills (110-116)? The brown looks pretty neat for a slightly funky suit.

I seem to remember that that was reported in this thread, but I don't know myself. I've only handled the 16 Lesser in the book. It felt great. I have the 13 oz and it's very nice, so I'm extrapolating a bit. The P&B I have and is outstanding.

I got some samples of traditional japanese cottons, indigos, seersucker and hakame fabrics. Planning on some sports coat commissions with them

What's are some of the preferred non-flannel F/W suiting cloths? All things considered, I'd prefer fabrics that skew more casual to avoid looking too business-y a la super slick worsteds.

Harrison's P&B looks to have some intriguing options 🧐
Harrison's looks good. I think Alfred Brown in England has a few nice non-flannel, non "slick" fabrics that can skew less dressy.
