No I look better than him my Mum told me.
And that's probably a good thing.
some tie fabric
Zegna "denim" cashmere/mohair/wool
Loro Piana wool
woodhouse navy herringbone wool/cashmere
Zegna wool cashmere mottled brown
Same as above in green
who makes that up for you? it looks fantastic.
they should make a smaller patch breast pocket next time, that is too large.
This is awesome...would also be killer in a deep Burgundy red.
Why everything , cuffs/lapels/pockets, is going OTT at the moment?
Some recent additions to the cloth hoarding.
1) Vibrant Navy Blue with Burgundy windowpane Lumb's Golden Bale by Lesser, 11oz (thanks Rob!) - can't wait to get this suit made up! I hope there's enough fabric to also squeeze out a vest for a 3 piece SB suit. Because why not? The windowpane is a touch more subtle than seen here. You really can hardly tell it's there unless you're in strong lighting. Very soft to the touch.
2) Houndstooth Gun Club, 14oz - I bought a cap in this fabric this Summer and really liked it so tracked it down. Not sure of the maker as no selvedge. Could this be the Gun Club (albeit with Houndsteeth) that I've been looking for all these years? We shall see. Regardless, I love it's wood-sy character with its colors of brown, tan, green and orange. It has a fantastic stretchy quality that seems like it will very comfortable.
^ Good stuff! More work for Peter?
Those are both pretty sweet David, especially the tweedy one. Looking forward to seeing them made up.
You got it David! You should have enough to get a vest out of it, was planning 3 piece with a DB vest and it was enough...look fwd to seeing it!
Just picked this up: Will wear it this season to see whether I want anything changed fit wise. Also I will ask my tailor to also do the railroading on the bottom of the coat. Pocket half tucked for teh extra 'gth' effect. I'm wearing this with a Cappelli scarf from last season that someone with excellent taste sold me
Looks good C&A.
Dark chocolate corduroy works, cream moleskin, blue jeans, the grey flannel you mentioned.
Mine (finally) did turn out nice.
*Edit: Addition of blue jeans.
