If you live in a very hot country , you will wear an off white /ivory linen suit for an sunday meal ,a drink out or any social gathering...

If tailors in the UK were working for a few hundreds of pounds , I would experiment a lot more with linen and cotton.

It is not white but most likely with a hint of ivory in it...

I have never worn an off white linen suit. I might, once in a while, but I am more likely to wear just the jacket with chinos or jeans, as I have said a few posts up. I have a trousering length of off white linen/synthetic blend I wanted to have made up as trousers, but the quality of this particular H&S is so good I will have this made instead. So I have bought a suiting length of off white linen, and will make a suit of it, but I will mostly wear them separately.

I will most likely make this suit myself, with my own hands. Don't ask how, etc. It is a long story I have no intention of telling here.

Received today cloth from HFW with the Crown Classic. Thanks a lot for notification to Will and everyone else. It will be two suits and maybe a jacket (unsure on the PoW yet).

No, no fresco here. Everything is from the Crown Classic, which was sold at 24 pounds/meter, as per Will's post at the ASW.

I was also thinking of making a suit out of that PoW. But there were only 2.5m available, which I decided to take anyway.
Don't think that it may be used as a separate jacket though...

My closet is pretty damn full, with only a few pieces I feel I "need" or would really like to have. Lots of these are great, but I just would rather start putting more money in for my kids college accounts than in my closet...15 years to go.

Because I prefer a more loud patterns for sportcoats. And this PoW is too muted for my tastes.

    ^^^^. Great minds think alike.

When the sale was announced I purchased the nailhead and windowpane.
