It's "ivory" -- notice the difference in colour when compared to the card.
I like linen in an off white, here I am wearing one:

Nice for the summer..
Ivory /off white is a great colour for linen.

Seriously? People really wear off white linen suits in real life? How many times a year exactly? My hat off, that's pretty ballsy

It probably seems especially weird in NY but you'd be surprised, I've seen it along with searsucker suits fairly often here in the South.

Come on guys, live and let live.

It's not as if he prefaced his fabric post with 'you all are the 99% who care only about accumulating style-less fabrics' or something to that effect.

I didn't mean to offend or anything. But this is of course the thread where people post all sorts of fabrics they buy and then decide they actually won't have made up, and then eventually try to unload on B&S. So my question was legitimate: are you really going to have this white linen fabric that looks like a clean tablecloth made into a bespoke suit? A white suit... Like Tatoo and his friend in Fantasy Island, like Sonny Crockett and Tony Montana ?

I'm truly curious. Who here gets a bespoke white linen suit made, and if you did, how often do you wear it?

I see you are quite the obnoxious clown, ignorant but loud mouthed.

I happen to think of this picture of Michael Alden in an off white linen DB, but this is not in reply to your question.

Would you be wearing the off white linen suit to your office in the summers ? You are in Malaysia, right ?

Hah! :embar:

Re: the rest of your post - fair enough I guess, but consider that (I am assuming) since his tailor is located in Malaysia, he is getting this done for the equivalent price of a few (full priced) Lacoste polo shirts or a single bottle of Amouage, which I (am assuming again) makes making up rare-wears more feasible.

The mental imagery re: Tony Montana is pretty damned hilarious though.

:)

Well, how would I know he is in Malaysia? I guess that could be the answer to the original question. Texas-jack also indicated that he sees people wearing white suits in the south - I believe him.

Not sure why the guy is getting his white linen panties in a bunch and starting to insult me while all I was doing was asking if anyone here really wears white suits. I've seen white trousers, I've seen occasional off white jackets - pretty sure I've never seen off white suits except for some rare beach wedding or something like that.
